Sergio Aguero Suffers From Heart Rhythm Disorder, Barcelona Continues To Monitor His Condition

 

Barcelona bomber Sergio Aguero is reportedly experiencing heart rhythm problems after complaining of chest pain in the match against Alaves, Sunday (31/10/2021) early morning hrs.

In this match which was held at Camp Nou, Aguero was installed as a starter by Barcelona caretaker, Sergi Barjuan. However, the Argentine player suddenly complained of pain in his chest in the 38th minute.Aguero was then pulled out and replaced by Phillipe Coutinho. After that, the former Manchester City player was immediately taken to the hospital.

Sergio Aguero's problem

After the match, Barcelona stated that Aguero would soon undergo a heart examination. Now, Sport claims that Aguero suffers from a heart arrhythmia or a heart rhythm disorder.

Cardiac arrhythmias occur when the heart's electrical signals that regulate heart rate don't work as they should. Because of this, the heart rate can beat faster, slower, or even irregularly.

Heart arrhythmia is actually not a complicated problem for most people. However, for an athlete, this can be a serious problem.

Barcelona continues to monitor

This heart arrhythmia problem makes it unlikely that Aguero will be able to return to play before the safety of his life has been guaranteed by the health authorities.

Barcelona itself stated that Aguero's condition will continue to be monitored from time to time in the next few days by medical experts.

This problem is a heavy blow for Aguero who actually just returned from injury and has only played five times this season.
